Public Philosophy Journal
The Public Philosophy Journal (PPJ) is a space for people to share work they curate and create to deepen how we understand societal matters and issues. In contrast to other scholarly journals, the PPJ uses an innovative Formative Review Process designed to support you in sharing work that engages with and addresses public concerns.
Less Commonly Taught and Indigenous Languages the Focus of $2.5 Million Grant
Michigan State University was awarded a four-year, $2.5 million grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support further development in the research and teaching of less commonly taught languages (LCTLs), with an emphasis on Indigenous languages.
Digital Dialogue Podcast
The Digital Dialogue is a podcast dedicated to cultivating the excellences of dialogue in a digital age. Colleagues are invited on the podcast to discuss their work, and in the course of the dialogue, my own scholarship is enriched.

Ancient Philosophy Society
The Ancient Philosophy Society was established to provide a forum for diverse scholarship on ancient Greek and Roman texts. Honoring the richness of the American and European philosophical traditions, the Ancient Philosophy Society supports phenomenological, postmodern, Anglo-American, Straussian, Tübingen School, hermeneutic, psychoanalytic, queer, and feminist interpretations of ancient Greek and Roman philosophical and literary works.
Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy
The Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy is a professional organization devoted to supporting philosophy inspired by continental European traditions. With a membership of over 2500 people, it is one of the largest American philosophical societies, and strives to encourage work not only in the philosophical traditions of phenomenology and existentialism, but also in all those areas commonly associated with ‘continental philosophy,’ such as animal studies, critical theory, cultural studies, deconstruction, environmental philosophy, feminism, German idealism, hermeneutics, philosophy of the Americas, post-colonialism, post-structuralism, psychoanalysis, philosophy of race and queer theory.
